Sundays always bring me a mix of bittersweet emotions, especially now that I have the weekends off once again.
I can’t help but feel my mind revert to the Sundays of my school age years when the day consisted of impending doom thinking about the massive amounts of homework I had yet to start, the chapters I would be cramming to read and the busy, early-waking days of the week to come.
Now, at age 26 I’m fortunate enough to have a career that I relish in, which has left Sundays feeling far more relaxed.
Of course, there will always be that slight feeling of distant anxiety, but that’s what Sunday evening cocktail time is for, right? Another, less inebriating way to quell the Sunday blues? Reflecting on the highlights of my weekend. This weekend simply screamed summer and of course a scattering of vibrant sunsets doesn’t hurt. Hope you enjoy as much as I have 🙂

the hour of a sunset also happens to provide optimal selfie lighting
friday morning run from meatpacking, up the west side highway
the ideal saturday: lounging poolside with an excellent read & the trendiest means of hydration
a nostalgic end to a family bbq on saturday – diy sundaes & pop rocks
the most epic brunch at a favorite spot, is there a better way to start a sunday?
my maiden name [farrington] spotted in my novel
easing the sunday blues with said novel [sweet salt air, blowing through my reading list] & summer shandy
